Warranty Policy

Suomy helmets are developed and produced to the highest quality standards using real-world and racing experience.  They are produced for the protection of motorcyclists and are designed exclusively for use on motorcycles.  

All Suomy helmets include a warranty issued to the original end-user against manufacturing and material defects, valid for a period of two years from the retail purchase date. This warranty does not cover damage from accidents, dropping the helmet, normal wear and tear, excessive exposure to chemicals or weather elements, or abusive use.

The 2-year warranty provides a guarantee to the original end-user that a defective product shall be repaired or replaced free of charge.

To ensure proper maintenance and use of your helmet, we strongly recommends that you read the product manual very carefully before using the helmet, and that you always keep the helmet in a safe place.

All warranty-related issues must be handled through the Suomy Retailer where the helmet was purchased.

In order for the warranty-related complaint to be considered, the buyer must notify the Retailer about the problem, and present original receipt or proof of purchase

The Retailer will then contact Suomy North America.  In some cases, the helmet must be returned to determine the nature of the defect, and whether the helmet can be repaired or replaced.

If approved, Suomy North America will repair or replace the helmet and return it to the Retailer.
